  • Does everything you share come from your Ranch?
Yes! Curious about where your food lives? Come see! Each animal is raised on our property and enjoys a very spoiled lifestyle. We do what we can to make their time with us the best we can and teach our kids some responsibility along the way.
  • Where are you located?
Our home base is in League City, Texas. This is where you'll find all of our 'hand fed' animals.
  • Why not the grocery store?
We pride ourselves on knowing where our food comes from and consuming the most natural and healthy products that we can. Have you looked at the ingredients on a package of ground meat at the grocery store? Compare the additives, size, flavor and nutritional value of the best grocery store meat products to ours and you'll be convinced of the difference.
  • How is this beef different than the grocery store?
The beef we offer is butchered from steers raised in our pastures. They graze all day on our own grass and are fed a daily snack of high protein, sweet feed. The feed is added for both flavor and texture. They are bred completely naturally with show quality cattle giving us a higher beef yield and leaner product. No water is added to the meat, and we use absolutely no hormones like what you will find in the grocery store.
  • Do I have to keep the meat in the freezer?
When you get meat from us, it had been kept frozen since processing. You can keep it frozen, or it can remain in your refrigerator for about 4 days after it has been thawed. Be sure to thaw completely before cooking for the best flavor.
  • Do you process the beef yourself?
Because we are selling meat to you, we must use a USDA certified processor. It is not cost effective for our boutique establishment to undergo the certification process ourselves, so we outsource to our local favorites and let the inspectors visit them.
  • How are these eggs different?
Our eggs come from the laying hens in our backyard. They are fed a high protein laying pellets, table scraps for treats and a natural diet of their choosing (bugs, grass, etc.). They free range on good weather days and lay an egg almost daily. Happy, healthy hens lay eggs full of nutrition that you don't get from mass managed farms.
  • Do I refrigerate the eggs?
When you get eggs from us, they've been laid within the last two weeks, washed and unrefrigerated. They can last up to 3 weeks unrefrigerated or up to 3 months in the refrigerator.
  • Why are the eggs different colors and shapes?
We have a variety of different breed hens, each with their own special pigment formula when they lay. This gives us different shades of brown, pink, blue and white eggs. Their diet also dictates much of the color, shape and nutritional value of the egg, which may vary depending on how many free-range snacks they consume.
